AmberESG Fair Use Policy

Version 2.1 - Effective May 1, 2024

This Fair Use Policy applies to anyone who uses AmberFlux EdgeAI Inc. (“AmberFlux”) products, services, tools, interfaces, etc. It is intended to help our users stay safe and to ensure our products and services are being used responsibly.

 

If we discover that your usage of our Services, products or tools violates AmberFlux policies, we may adjust the safety settings of your usage experience or suspend your access to our Services, products, or tools. We may or may not issue a warning requesting a change in your behavior at our sole discretion.

 

You acknowledge and agree that generative models are capable of producing factually inaccurate, harmful, or biased information. The information provided by AI Large Language Models and Generative models may be inaccurate, unreliable, unsuitable, and/or unavailable for any purpose. Any reliance you place on such information is therefore strictly at your own risk. We make no representations, or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability concerning the output for any purpose whatsoever. In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of our products, tools, websites, applications, AI engines and AI models. Our mission is to make high-quality, safe AI systems and as we work to meet this goal, we ask that you independently verify our model responses and notify us at amberESG@amberflux.com when our model outputs inaccurate, biased, or harmful content.

 

 

Prohibited Uses: We do not allow our products and services to be used in connection with, including to generate, any of the following:

 

1. Abusive or fraudulent content: This includes using our Services or products or tools to promote or facilitate the generation or distribution of spam; to generate content for fraudulent activities, scams, phishing, or malware; to compromise security or gain unauthorized access to computer systems or networks, including spoofing and social engineering; to violate the security, integrity, or availability of any user, network, computer or communication system, software application, or network or computing device; to violate any natural person’s rights, including privacy rights; for inappropriate use of confidential or personal information; to interfere with or negatively impact AmberFlux products or services; to utilize inputs and/or outputs to train AI models like AI model scraping etc.

2. Sexual exploitation or abuse content: We strictly prohibit and will report to relevant authorities or organizations where appropriate any content that exploits or abuses people or entities, especially minors. This includes content related to grooming, pedophilia, and nudity or that describes, encourages, supports, or distributes any form of sexual content, including, but not limited to, child sexual exploitation, abuse, or material.

3. Deceptive or misleading content: This includes using our products or services to: (a) impersonate a human by presenting results as human-generated, or using results in a manner intended to convince a natural person that they are communicating with a  natural person; (b) engage in inappropriate behavior or disinformation campaigns; (c) target or track a person’s location, behavior, or communicate without their consent; (d) generate deceptive or misleading comments or reviews; (e) engage in multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes; or (f) plagiarize or engage in other forms of dishonesty, for example, academic dishonesty

4. Illegal or regulated activities: Use of our services to (a) engage in any illegal activity; (b) provide instructions on how to create or facilitate illegal activities; (c) facilitate the exchange of illegal goods or services; (d) encourage or provide instructions on how to engage in or facilitate illegal services such as human trafficking, prostitution; (e) design, market, help distribute or utilize weapons, explosives, dangerous materials or other systems designed to cause harm to or loss of human life; (f) provide instructions on how to commit or facilitate any type of crime; (g) gamble or betting on sports.

5. Harmful content: This includes use of our Services, products or tools to: (a) encourage or engage in any form of self-harm; (b) shame, humiliate, bully, celebrate the suffering of, or harass any person or entity; (c) generate pornographic content or content meant for sexual gratification of any form; (d) engage in erotic chats/questions.

6. Violent, hateful, or threatening content: This includes using of our Services, products, and tools to: (a) threaten, incite, promote or actively encourage violence or terrorism; (b) describe, encourage, support or provide instructions on how to commit violent acts against persons, animals or property; (c) encourage hate speech or discriminatory practices that could cause harm to individuals or communities based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or any other identifying trait.

7. Political campaigning or lobbying: This includes using of our Services, products, and tools for: (a) creating targeted campaigns to influence the outcome of elections or referendums; political advocacy or lobbying;

8. Other prohibited uses: (a) searching for or gathering information on any individual or group to track, target, or report on their identity, including using product or service for facial recognition, covert tracking, battlefield management applications, or predictive policing; (b) assigning scores or ratings to individuals based on an assessment of their trustworthiness or social behavior; (c) making automated decisions about the eligibility of individuals for financial products, creditworthiness; (d) for providing any medical advice and (d) any activity prohibited by the laws of Republic of India and the laws of United States of America.

 

Apart from the above restrictions, AmberFlux implements usage limits so that all users get a reasonable chance to use our Services, products, and tools effectively.

 

AmberFlux doesn't impose any restrictions on how many queries a user can ask for searching information from public sources. Similarly, AmberFlux doesn't impose any restrictions on how much content a user can generate in a month or a week or a day. However, we reserve our right to limit the number of queries or amount of content generated in future. We will notify our users by way of updating this fair use policy when there are any such restrictions are imposed.

For document summarization, AmberFlux currently restricts that only one (1) document can be uploaded at a time.  While there are no size restrictions, we recommend that each document should not exceed 2 MB limit in size. While we do not impose any restriction on how many documents you can upload in an hour, day, week, month, etc., we reserve our right to impose such restrictions in the future at our sole discretion without any notice to you.
